Happy Halloween

Happy Halloween 2008. I hosted a Halloween Party for all my ASL students and the Deaf community. We had about 50 - 60 folks show up and I think everyone had an enjoyable time. Check out the pics below . . .

I carved this little guy. I named him Chessy - kinda reminds me of a Cheshire cat.

My Deaf friend, John at the party. Go Phillies!!

A new Sherrif's in town.

My ASL I student, Anne the Wicked Witch of the West.

Jeremiah Cruz, my deaf friend from NY dressed as Wendy.

One of my ASL students, Terry C. aka, "Typhoid Terry" LOL

My ASL I student, Suzy was a jewel!

Sheriff Brewer

Aye, Matey! Argh!

Want some Kitty Poo? Litter for lunch? Gross!

Julius Ceaser - Kenny is in ASL II

Geisha Kristen is in ASL I

Virginia holds the Flower Baby, her mommy is in ASL I.

I made these horrid monster fingers and this crazy gingerbread haunted house - never again. It took 4 days to complete. I made it from scratch and all materials were edible.

I made the eyeball cupcakes too!

Here is Jeremy, our "cereal killer" . . . one of the deaf ladies said, "Bless his heart, he died while eating all that cereal." We didn't try to explain :) For those of you who know the Deaf - you should smile.

I baked a pineapple upside down cake. It was yummy!
I also made the bones below and we dipped them in blood (marinara sauce).

The ladies check out the litter.

"Bad boys, Bad boys, whatcha gonna do when we come for you?"

My ASL I Class photo.

Betty Johnson was ready to kill anyone that put a fake snake in her presence. She threatened to break my neck :)

Vivian is the class Mother. She is an older nontraditional student in ASL I. She is totally cool!
